Hei Whakapiki Mauri

Kanohi ki te Kanohi collaborates with people and organisations that are seeking to create their own change.

Ruth and Gary are agents of change who share a passion and aroha for serving their communities and working in partnership with whānau and organisations. They have mana in the Aotearoa disability community and have extensive networks and experience across the disability, not-for-profit, Māori and government sectors.

A unique brand was developed alongside their kaupapa to help Māori whānau with disabilities, explore what's important through their whānau, whakapapa, tikanga and reo.

The branding for Hei Whakapiki Mauri resonates by bringing people together from all walks of life, providing a sense of belonging and oneness in a community that will leave them feeling empowered.

The website heiwhakapikimauri.co.nz was created along with kanohikitekanohi.org to build an online community and reach wider community members and whānau with disabilities.

The Maui crew got the chance to hangout with Ruth and Gary in multiple instances. Their digital story is a reflection of their passions and thoughts on life as future change agents.
